





When we first spoke on the phone back in August it was about Nicole wanting to take her work-outs up a notch – before basketball try-outs. It wasn’t about me. You asked if I would be joining Nicole and I said I might give it a try ...thinking it would look ridiculous if I took Nicole and then just watched LOL The 1st class was one of the warmest, humid days of the summer and you came prepared with a bin full of ice water :).
I was kind of nervous ... but after that first class I was hooked! It was a tough class, but it was tough in a different way. I love the format of the class – what I mean is the ‘HIIT’ type of training you do. It makes the class manageable, really push for a short length of time, then recover.
I definitely feel stronger and more co-ordinated and so proud that I am dragging tires and running hills. I would absolutely encourage my family, friends and associates to try your classes – and for those I have already spoken to, I highlight the very positive environment. lots of support and no one is judging you – regardless of your physicals abilities.
I believe I am in week 10 or 11 and I have only missed 3 classes – so that is awesome.
On a deeper level, being able to do this with Nicole has been a lot of fun and I think she is proud of me too! I know she can kick my butt in endurance and speed, but I can give her a run for her money on some strength exercises.... a little competition is fun.
Lastly, you know the saying ‘like attracts like’ and that proves the be very true with your followers – a great bunch of people to share this experience with!!

I first heard about Proactive Training and Nutrition in June. It was perfect timing as I had made the decision that though I love my family incredibly, I needed to do something for myself. Little did I know that what I thought was a small decision would turn out to be everything but small!
I was nervous to start on this path as I didn't quite know what to expect. I mean ive tried everything; boot camp, different exercise classes, group sports, went spinning, in a group and on my own. But still I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to keep up, that I wouldn't see any changes, that I would let my family down and that I would disappoint myself.
My first class was great. A group game, a warm-up, circuits, another game and a cool down and definite motivation. I quickly assimilated into this routine, making it feel natural. After a few weeks, I felt less tired, and felt better in general. My clothes were fitting better and more comfortably. Charlotte's customized nutrition plan helped me notice even more results. I was not only feeling better but I was loosing pounds!
I am down 14 pounds since I begun this initial journey and am excited to hear about my inches when I have my measurements taken this week.
This journey has 'made me a believer' that you can make a change and can make that change at any time. The support and motivation that Emerson and Charlotte have provided is amazing. I am not sure I will ever have quite the same energy as Emerson does, but it is truly amazing. It is evident that these two truly care about each and every one of their participants.
I am glad that I took on this challenge and that I have proven to myself that I can make a change. I fell better and have noticed some results (no more flabby under arms) :)

I was nervous coming to bootcamp for the first time. It was really tough and I thought I was going to die after the first session. I was so out of shape. I had given up on getting back into shape. I was unhappy with how I looked and how my clothes fit.
I did not expect to come as far as I have. If I had not come to Emerson's boot camp, I would still be sitting on the couch eating chocolate after a stressful day at work.
There have been many days when I have come home from work exhausted and have come to boot camp anyway - always leaving feeling de stressed and so much better. I have replaced eating chocolate with working out.
I have lost weight, gained muscle and am starting to love how I feel in my clothes.
We have changed our diet and have started eating better as a family. I feel like my husband and I are positive role models for our kids - teaching them healthier habits.
I started running again. Something I loved to do and never thought I would be able to do again. I can do push ups and lift tires!
